Description
Every Sunday of the year, meditation services are held in the White Sands Buddhist Center Meditation Hall from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. Service includes a 20 minute meditation session, chanting, praying, singing and a dharma talk conducted by a member of the White Sands monastic community.
Services are open to the public and all are invited to experience the peacefulness of this weekly event.
Please note: Shoes are removed prior to entering the meditation hall and shoulders and legs must be covered. No shorts or tanks tops permitted.

On Sunday, December 7, 2025, Mayor Andrew Connors of Titusville, Florida, visited the White Sands Buddhist Monastery. Members of the Buddhist community received the Mayor, who remained to answer questions regarding legislative efforts within the City.
The warmth with which the Mayor was received, and his genuine effort to engage, is a welcome indication of his commitment to reaching out to all residents, regardless of their diverse religious and spiritual practices. We were honored to have the Mayor present.
During the visit, the Mayor suggested several ways the community could be of service, including volunteering for the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and various Indian River Lagoon environmental groups
