Father’s Day Celebration

A father may not be perfect, but he loves his children in his own way.
At White Sands Buddhist Center, we always place filial piety at the heart of our practice because our parents are the living Buddhas in our lives. To honor and care for our parents is also to honor the Buddha.
Last month, we joyfully celebrated Mother’s Day. This Sunday, we will come together to celebrate Father’s Day with gratitude and respect.
With this heartfelt message, I warmly invite you to spend some time at the temple, practicing together and sending peaceful, loving energy to the quiet, steadfast, and deeply respected fathers who have always been the pillars of our families.
May all fathers be blessed with good health, peace and happiness.
