Mother
“Mom, the language of this world is but a torn bag –
How can it ever hold the fullness of the words ‘I love you, Mom’?”
I have grown, and continue to grow, in your boundless love. Each day, just being able to see you brings me happiness. I know that time is quietly taking away your youth, and I also sense that the day I must be apart from you is drawing near. But to me, every day is Mother’s Day—because without you, there would be no me. So I know that you and I have never truly been apart, have we Mom?
We, your children – even those of us with graying hair – are forever little ones in your eyes, always in need of your sheltering love. Your love is vast and immeasurable; no words or ink could ever fully express it.
Mother’s Day is a sacred and noble day. May all children return to Cát Trắng, come back to the Three Jewels, and offer prayers and blessings for our beloved mothers.
“If your mother is still with you, please don’t make her cry,
Don’t let sorrow touch her eyes, alright?”
And if by chance your mother is no longer here,
May you hold her in mindful remembrance and peace.
